Giant games work really well in the school environment and hiring games means you can vary the games on offer giving the children something new and exciting to interact with.

Whilst the kids are having fun and enjoying this unique activity at the end of term they are actually practising skills that may help them learn.
Playing games most importantly engages children, a mix of the familiar but super sized games such as Giant Connect 4 and Giant 0’s and X’s mixed with new innovative games with interesting mechanisms, shapes and even sounds piques curiosity.

It’s been over a year now since New Zealand went into lockdown for the first time. In those early days, with all events cancelled and no end in sight it was a time of great uncertainty for everyone.
Slowly, events are starting to return as we learn to manage this new way of life and stay safe during the pandemic. No doubt we have been very lucky here in New Zealand with the prompt actions taken from the top.
Scenes like the one in the picture above, of crowds gathering and not a mask in sight are unthinkable in many parts of the world.
Here in Aotearoa planning an event still brings much uncertainty and cancelling and changing bookings can be costly and disheartening.
Here at Woodbotherer Games, we immediately adopted a full refund policy for any bookings cancelled due to Covid-19 restrictions.
Happily, we have seen many of our customers able to return to rebook for their wedding or event at a new date.
Holding these events seems to have a greater significance as we certainly don’t take anything for granted anymore.
